Ricky Jhauj
(Doctor of Physiotherapy)
Canine Rehabilitation
Ricky holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, with a keen interest and knowledge in canine and rehabilitation, preventative care, post-surgical recovery, and breed-specific treatments—particularly for Dachshunds, Bulldogs, and Greyhounds.
His journey into animal rehabilitation began with his own dog, Echo, whose struggles with injuries and arthritis inspired his commitment to improving the health and well-being of dogs and horses.
Ricky uses a tailored, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, designing programs that address each animal’s breed, lifestyle, and long-term health goals. His focus goes beyond recovery, emphasising injury prevention and sustained mobility.
Ricky advocates for the advancement of the field and the highest standards of animal care. He has been published in the British Journal of Medicine and is actively pursuing research opportunities in animal rehabilitation.
Ricky and his partner also give back by supporting animal rescue organisations, reinforcing their mission to create healthier, happier lives for every animal they touch.
